Ingredients
1 baked pie shell
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. corn starch
2/3 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
2 c. scalded milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 carton of cool whip
Preparation
-mix powdered sugar and peanut butter together until crumbly -put half of mixture in bottom of pie shell, save other half
-mix corn starch, sugar, salt, milk & egg yolks until smooth -cook mixture in double boiler until thick(pudding) -once thickened add butter and vanilla -remove from heat and pour into pie shell
-let pie cool in refrigerator over night and put cool whip on top and sprinkle the remaining peanut butter and powdered sugar mixture
-Keep refrigerated
