Ingredients

1-1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

2/3 cup evaporated milk

2 cups quick-cooking oats

2/3 cup creamy peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, flour and milk. Bring to a full rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients all at once. Blend well.

Drop tablespoonfuls onto wax paper. Cool completely before serving or storing.
