Ingredients
2 cups quick oats
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup chopped peanuts
1 cup brown sugar
1 teasp soda
3/4 teasp salt
1 cup butter
1 14oz sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup m & m’s
Preparation
Combine oats, flour, peanuts, sugar, salt, soda, mix well. Add butter, mix until dry ingredients are moistened and mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve1 1/2 cups crumb mixture, press remaining mixture onto bottom of greased 15 x 10 jelly roll pan. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes. Combine milk and peanut butter in small mixing bowl, mix until well blended. Spread over partially baked crust to within 1/4 inch from edge. Combine reserved crumb mixture and candies, sprinkle evenly over milk mixture, pressing in lightly. Continue baking for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown. cool thourhley, cut into bars. Eat them up
