Peanut Butter Cocoa Rice Krispy Treats Recipe

Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows - OR - 4 cups miniature marshmallows

1/2 cup peanut butter

6 cups chocolate flavored crisped rice cereal (such as Cocoa Rice Krispies®)

3 cups mini chocolate chips

Preparation

In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until melted.

Add cereal and mini chocolate chips. Stir until well coated.

Cool slightly. Using buttered hands press mixture into 9 x 13 pan. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.
