Ingredients

1/2 cup vegetable shortening

1 cup butter or margarine

1 cup chunky peanut butter

1 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1- 12oz. package chocolate chips

1- 12oz. can salted peanuts

Preparation

Cream shortening, butter, and peanut butter. Add sugars and cream until blended. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Add flour and baking soda and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and peanuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and place on wire rack to cool.
