Ingredients

1 C. brown sugar

1/2 C. white sugar

1/2 C. butter

1/2 C. creamy peanut butter

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1/2 C. walnuts, chopped

1 (13 oz.) pkg. miniature chocolate covered peanut butter cups, halved

1 1/2 C. flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

Topping:

2 C. semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 C. butter

Preparation

Beat together sugars, 1/2 C. butter and peanut butter in a large bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl. Stir flour mixture into peanut butter mixture. Fold in chopped nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan. Press peanut butter cups lightly into batter. Bake 350 degrees for 20-25 min. Cool in pan To make topping: Met chocolate and 1/2 C. butter in a small bowl in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring after each until smooth. Drizzle the chocolate into pan. Cut into bars
