Ingredients

2 cups sugar

1 cup karo

1/2 cup hot water

2 cups raw peanuts

1 tbsp. butter

2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Cook sugar, karo & water until it forms a hard boil in cold water. Add raw peanuts and cook slowly until it turns a light brown, stirring constantly. Add butter and stir until melted. Add baking soda slowly then remove from heat, continue stirring until it turns a golden brown. Spread on a well greased cookie sheet. When cool, break into pieces.
