Ingredients

6 c mashed ripe peaches

3 c sugar, divided

5 eggs

1/4 t salt

1 t vanilla

1 1/2 c milk, divided

1 c whipping cream, whipped

1 c half and half

Preparation

combine peaches and 1 c sugar - stir well and set aside

beat eggs with mixer at medium speed until frothy. Gradually add 2 c sugar, beating until thick. Add salt, vanilla, and 1/2 c milk; beat until sugar is dissolved

stir in whipped cream, half and half, and peaches.

Pour mixture into 1 gallon freezer and add milk until 2/3 full
