Ingredients

Single 9-inch pie crust

1/4 cup corsnatch

juice of one lemon (a little over 3 TBS)

2 1/2 TBS Butter

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

3/4 brown sugar

3 cups sliced granny smith apples peeled and sliced

5 cups peeled and sliced peaches

Preparation

  1. Slowly stir in the lemon juice into the cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in the fry pan. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
  3. Stir in the sliced apples until coated. Stir in the peaches.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice/cornstarch mixture.
  5. Place the pie crust on top of the mixture and place in a 425 degree oven. Bake until the crust is golden brown and mixture is hot and bubbly. About 30 minutes.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
