Ingredients
Single 9-inch pie crust
1/4 cup corsnatch
juice of one lemon (a little over 3 TBS)
2 1/2 TBS Butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3/4 brown sugar
3 cups sliced granny smith apples peeled and sliced
5 cups peeled and sliced peaches
Preparation
- Slowly stir in the lemon juice into the cornstarch. Set aside.
- Melt the butter in the fry pan. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
- Stir in the sliced apples until coated. Stir in the peaches.
- Stir in the lemon juice/cornstarch mixture.
- Place the pie crust on top of the mixture and place in a 425 degree oven. Bake until the crust is golden brown and mixture is hot and bubbly. About 30 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
