Ingredients
1 smoked ham hock
2 pounds of cubed cooked ham
2 packages of green peas
12 cups of water
2 onions
3 leaks
4 cups of celery
3 carrots
salt
pepper
Preparation
soak peas overnight & drain add water, ham hock, ham, onions,leeks celery, carrots,salt and pepper. Bring to boil, cover and simmer until ingredients are ‘mushy’.
