Ingredients
Pea soup uncooked - 500 ml (2 cups)
Water for soaking
Broth of your choice - 3 L (12 cups)
Non-hydrogenated margarine Nuvel -15 ml (1 tbsp)
Onion, chopped - 1
Celery cut diagonally - 1 branch
Carrot into small pieces - 1
Bay leaf
Ground savory - 2 ml (1/2 tsp)
Ham into small cubes - 60 ml (1/4 cup)
Pepper, salt to taste
Preparation
Put the peas into a bowl and cover with water Soak peas 6 to 8 hours or overnight Discard the soaking water Mix in a salad bowl the first ingredients Add the peas and remaining ingredients in a saucepan Cover and simmer about 3 hours Serve
