Ingredients
6 tablespoons melted butter
2 Large egg whites
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne
2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
3/4 cup sugar
1 lb pecans
Preparation
Melt butter slightly in microwave and set aside. Beat egg whites with salt until good and foamy. Gradually add the sugar and spices. Stir in nuts and butter. Line the largest shallow sided baking pan you have with parchment and spread the mixture into it. Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 to 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes for so. You don’t have use the parchment paper, but the mixture is sticky and will make a real mess in your baking pan without it. Depending on your oven you may need to bake another few minutes. The mixture will seem gooey, but as it cools it hardens and you can break it up as you would peanut brittle when it is cool.
