Ingredients

6 cups Flour

2 cups Crisco Butter

1 1/2 cups warm water

1 tbl powdered sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon Annise seed

1 tablespoon Sesame

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1 lbs Fig

1 tablespoon Yeast

Preparation

Mix Flour with Hot butter in a pie crust way. Add the rest of the ingredients and form a dough on the wet side. Leave for 1/2 and hour. Flatten on a flat surface and cut in a round shapes using a glass cup. Shape the Fig as sausages and fill in the dough and fold in to seal. Egg Wash, place on a cookiee sheet and bake for 20 minutes at 350.

Note: if dates are hard, add some hot water and heat up.

Patton salle is the same receipe but you will add 1/2 cup olive oil, an additional tea spoon salt, and cummin.
