Ingredients
Olive Oil
2 # cubed turkey breast (I use deli smoked turkey breast and have the deli cut it in one inch cubes.)
2 medium onions chopped
2 4oz cans chopped green chilis (drained)
4 cans chicken broth
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh garlic to taste
4 15oz cans Great Northern or White Beans (Don’t Drain)
4 cans of white whole kernel corn (drained)
1 jar green salsa verde
fresh limes
cheddar cheese grated
fresh cilantro
sour cream
rice or fritos or tortillas
Preparation
- In large pan pour oil and heat.
- Add onions and saute until soft. If using fresh garlic add it with onions.
- Add turkey and stir well.
- Add all other ingredients before dotted line.
- Simmer for at least one hour.
- Serve with items below dotted line so that people can add what they most like with chili.
