Ingredients

*1/2 pkg. any type of pasta

*2 14 oz.cans of tomato sauce *5 cloves of garlic

*A half bunch of fresh basil

*2 tablespoons of capers

*1 small can of tomato paste

*2 oz. green (Sicilian) olives

*3 oz. black (Kalamata) olives

*1 small block Parmesan Reggiano

*1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil

*1 teaspoon ground black pepper

*2 pinches salt

Preparation

Sauce: Heat olive oil in a large sauce pan over medium heat, add garlic and allow it to cook until soft. Turn heat down to medium-low and add tomato paste and tomato sauce and stir together until mixed. Turn heat down to low and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Add salt, pepper, capers, and olives (with the oil that they marinaded in). Add the basil leaves, tearing by hand. Simmer for 30 more minutes. Cook the pasta, drain it ,and pour the sauce on the top. Grate parmasan before serving.
