Ingredients
16 oz. pasta
2 t butter
2 egg, beaten
2 t dry mustard
2 t salt
2 T hot water
2 C milk
6 C cheddar cheese, shredded
2 C bread crumbs (if desired)
Preparation
- Cook pasta until al dente. Drain.
- Stir butter and eggs into hot pasta.
- Dissolve salt and mustard in hot water. Then pour into milk.
- Add most of the cheese to pasta mix and stir.
- Pour into buttered casserole dish.
- Pour milk mixture over pasta and sprinkle remaining cheese and, if using, bread crumbs on top.
- Bake, uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes
