Ingredients

16 oz. pasta

2 t butter

2 egg, beaten

2 t dry mustard

2 t salt

2 T hot water

2 C milk

6 C cheddar cheese, shredded

2 C bread crumbs (if desired)

Preparation

  1. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain.
  2. Stir butter and eggs into hot pasta.
  3. Dissolve salt and mustard in hot water. Then pour into milk.
  4. Add most of the cheese to pasta mix and stir.
  5. Pour into buttered casserole dish.
  6. Pour milk mixture over pasta and sprinkle remaining cheese and, if using, bread crumbs on top.
  7. Bake, uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes
