Ingredients
1 lb. bacon-cubed
1 large yellow onion-minced
1 clove garlic-crushed
1 stick butter
1 tbl. olive oil
3 28oz. cans crushed tomatoes
1 tbl. dried oregano
2 tbl. dried basil
salt to taste
Preparation
In a large pot melt butter.Add oil,bacon and onion.Cook until bacon is crisp and onion is soft.Add tomatoes,oregano,basil and salt.Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve over your favorite pasta.
