Ingredients
4 ounces walnuts
2 ounces dried apricots
2 ounces pitted prunes
2 ounces pitted dates
1 large apple, peeled, cored, and cut into large chunks
1 medium seedless orange, Mineola or Tangelo, cut into eighths, skin and all
1/4 cup sweet wine
1 tbsp brandy or cognac
1/3 tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of ground cloves
1/2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp matzo meal
Preparation
Combine fruits and nuts in food processor and pulse several times until finely chopped but not pureed. In a large bowl, combine this mixture with all other ingredients.
