Ingredients
1 lb (500g) ground beef, extra lean
½ yellow onion, minced
½ cup each, fresh parsley & mint, chopped
½ cup fresh bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp oregano, dried
½ tsp salt
Pepper, as desired
Preparation
Combine ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly with hands. Let mixture sit in refrigerator for at least an hour. Shape meat into bite-sized balls and place on lightly greased baking sheet. Place in preheated oven 450F (230 C) for 15-20 minutes until brown and cooked through. Serve.
