Ingredients

2 pound red tomatoes

half pound left over bread

2 cloves of garlic

1 bunch of basil leaves

extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper

Preparation

Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water for 15 second, peal and seeds them. In a pot, stir the garlic with the whole skin(so it doesn´t burn and it´s easier to take it out at the end) than add gradually part of the tomatoes, pieces of bread some basil leaves and a bit of oil, keep doing it until you finish your ingredients. add the sugar, cook for 5 minutes more , than season and let it cool down a bit. bon Appétit!
