Ingredients
2 tbsp.butter 1 onion chopped 1 lb.ground lamb 1 cup rice 1 tsp.spermint flakes. 1 tsp.marjoram. 1/2cup.chopped parsley. 2 tsp.salt Pepper to taste. 1 cup Feta cheese
crumbled 1 egg lightly beaten. 1/2 cup pine nuts. 1/2 lb.filo pastry sheets
found in most supermarkets. 1/4 cup olive oil and 2tbsp. butter. egg

Preparation
Heat oil and fry onions until soft.Break up lamb and saute with onions,until it loses color,about five minutes. Add rice and two cups hot water,with herbs and seasonings. Cover and cook on medium heat,about 20 minutes until meat is cooked and rice is soft. Remove from heat ,mix in feta cheese,beaten egg,and pine nuts. Mix with all ingredients.Melt butter and oil in a small pot.Oil a medium size rectangular baking pan.Lay half of the sheets of filo,oiling lightly between each sheet.Spread meat and rice filling,on filo sheets.Lay remaining filo sheets on top of meat and rice filling,oiling between the filo sheets as before. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Serve with a greek salad,greek bread,and a glass of good wine.
