Ingredients
2.25 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 stick margarine
1/2 stick butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed dk brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 bag 12 oz toll house semi sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation
standard toll house recipe. combine flour baking soda and salt in small bowl, beat butter granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. add eggs/applesauce beating well. Beat in flour stir in morsels and pour in to 9 x 12 glass pan greased and flowered. bake 375 until golden about 20-25min. Cut into 2 " squares when cool.
