Ingredients

1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste

2/3 cup cider vinegar

1/3 cup water

3 tablespoons raw honey or pure maple syrup

3 tablespoons onion, minced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/8 teaspoon ground allspice

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a food processor or with a hand held blender until smooth. Add a bit of water if too thick. Store in a tightly covered jar in the refrigerator.
