Ingredients
Smoked bacon
5 oysters
1 tbsp butter
8 oz broth
salt and pepper to taste
sniped dill and old bay seasoning for garnish
Oyster broth
2 cups 1/2 and 1/2
6 cups heavy cream
shot of tabasco
oyster juice
(makes ~1 quart to serve 4)
Preparation
In a small pan start your butter, bacon and oysters until oysters are cooked lightly. Add cream broth, bring gentl to a boil and simmer about 1 minute. Adjust seasoning. Pour into bowl and garnish.
