Ingredients
1-pound package of bacon strips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cover large sheet pan with heavy duty foil. If pan does not have edges, crimp the foil to create some. The edges of the pan are essential and will serve to contain the liquid grease as the bacon cooks.
Lay bacon strips onto the sheet. The strips can be crowded together or slightly overlapping.
Place bacon onto center rack. Check bacon after 15 min. for doneness. If more crispness is desired, bake for an additional 5 min, but check frequently at this point.
Remove from oven and lay bacon onto paper towels to remove excess fat. Reuse these paper towels after the bacon is finished by placing them on top of the foil to help absorb the grease left on the sheet.
Roll up foil and paper towels and toss.
