Ingredients

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup Butter Melted

3 teaspoons cinnamon - divided

3 tart apples peeled and thinly sliced

1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries

1 loaf of italian bread cut into 1" cubes

6 eggs

1 1/2 cups of milk

1 tablespoon vanilla

Preparation

Combine brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and butter in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Add apples and raisins and toss to coat. Put cubed bread over the top. Scramble eggs, milk, vanilla and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, pour over the bread. Cover and refridgerate from 4-24 hours. Bake covered at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand about 5-10 minutes before serving.
