Ingredients
1 ½ cup yellow corn meal
2 eggs
2/3 cup Wesson oil
1 cup creamed corn
1 cup sour milk (1 tsp vinegar in 1 cup milk - let sit 5 minutes)
3 chopped jalapenos
3 tsp baking powder
1 cup grated cheese
Preparation
Preparation - Preheat oven with 9x9 Pyrex dish to 425 degrees. Mix all ingredients except cheese. Layer ½ batter, ½ cheese, ½ batter and ½ cheese into hot dish. Bake for 25 minutes.
