Ingredients
1 lb VERY fress seabass(una or salmon may be substituted)
1/2 cup Sake
1 TBS Tamari or soy sauce
2 TBS rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, pressed
1 slices fresh ginger
2 slices fresh ginger,finely chopped or pressed in garlic press
Juice of 1 orange
A few drops of toasted sesame oil (OPTIONAL)
1 carrot, peeled
1 small bunch chives
Preparation
Slice carrot in very thin strips. Cut chives the same length as carrots. Set aside. Sauce- Combine tamari, vinegar, orange juice,garlic, chopped ginger & sesame oil. Heat gently; set aside.Put sake and equal amount of water in steamer. Add 2 slices ginger. Steam seabass until cooked through. Put fish on serving plate. Pour sauce over it and garnish with carrots and chives
