Ingredients

1 pkg of Ramen Noodles

1 Tbsp butter

1/2 cup sliced almonds or chopped pecans

6-7 cups (1/2 head) green cabbage, shredded 1/8" thick

1/2 cup green onions, sliced into rings 1/4" thick

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Ingredients for Dressing:

2 Tbsp sugar

3 Tbsp white vinegar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 Tbsp dry oregano leaves, crushed

1 pkg Ramen Noodle Flavor Packet - Oriental Flavor

Preparation

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Crush the Ramen noodles and add to the skillet. Saute noodles until they are coated with butter. Remove from heat and allow to cool. In a large salad bowl, combine Ramen noodles, almonds, cabbage, green onions, salt, pepper, and sesame seeds. Just before serving, add the dressing and toss to mix.
