Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 T flour
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup boiling water
rind and juice of 1 large orange
8 oz (1/2 pint) heavy whipping cream
Preparation
Mix flour, sugar, rind, orange juice and egg yolks in top of double boiler. Add boiling water and cook over boiling water until thick, about 1/2 hour stirring occasionally. While cooling, whip cream to soft peaks. Fold into cooled dressing and serve over mixed fruit, pancakes, waffles, etc.
