Ingredients

1 (5 pound) fully cooked ham (pre-sliced if you can)

1/4 cup Whole Cloves

1 teaspoon Ground Cloves

3/4 cup Pineapple Juice

1 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Honey

2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard

2 Oranges, juiced

Zest (from one orange)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven according to directions on ham.
  2. Stud with the whole cloves about 1 - 2 inch spacing. Place ham in roasting pan.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, honey, orange juice, orange zest, ground cloves, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Brush glaze over ham, and bake according to directions on ham in the preheated oven. Baste ham every 10 minutes with the honey glaze. During the last 5 minutes of baking, turn on broiler to caramelize the glaze. Remove from oven, and let sit a few minutes before serving.
