Ingredients

1 cup red wine (or cranberry juice or water)

2 cups granulated sugar

Zest and juice of one orange

1 cinnamon stick

1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries

Preparation

Heat a medium-sized saucepan and bring the wine (or juice or water) to a boil. Add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Add cranberries, orange juice and zest, and reduce to a simmer. Simmer until cranberries are of desired consistency.
