Ingredients

1 lb linguine

6-oz. can tomato paste

1 cup italian flat-leaf parsley

1 tsp. (or less) salt

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup parmesan cheese (with another half cup or so set aside for the table)

1 T. red pepper flakes

Preparation

Combine everything but the linguine. (It’s actually best if you can do this a few hours in advance, for flavors to soak together, but not an absolute requirement.) Cook the linguine, stir it with the other stuff, eat.
