Ingredients

4 slices whole grain bread, lightly toasted

4 Tbsp. bottled Thousand Island dressing

1 thin slice red onion

6 ounces sliced smoked turkey breast

1 avocado, peeled, thinly sliced

1 cup grated hot pepper Monterey Jack cheese (about 3 ounces)

1 cup alfalfa sprouts

Preparation

Preheat broiler. Place bread on baking sheet. Spread 1 Tbsp. Thousand Island dressing on each slice of bread. Top with a few rings of red onion slices, turkey and avocado. Sprinkle sandwiches with cheese. Broil until cheese melts and bubbles. Top sandwiches with sprouts and serve.
