Ingredients
1 medium onion, sliced into rings
1 cup flour
1 cup vegan breadcrumbs or corn meal
1/3 apple juice or water
2 TBS white wine vinegar
Black Pepper
Enough oil to deep fry with.
Preparation
- Heat oil in saucepan. You can also use a deep fryer if you have one.
- Mix flour, juice, and vinegar. Add enough water till you get a sticky, gooey batter. Add as much pepper as you desire.
- Coat rings, and throw into oil. Fry until golden brown.
- With slotted spoon, remove from oil onto papertowel covered plate.
