Ingredients

1 packages yeast

1/4 cup warm water

4 cups flour

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup hot water

1/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg beaten

1/4 cup dried onion

1/4 cup melted butter

1 tablespoon parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

1 tablespoon poppy seeds

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

In large bowl mix yeast in warm water, let stand 10 minutes. Stir in 2 cups flour, butter, milk, 1/2 cup hot water, sugar, salt, and egg. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed, stir in remaining flour - doubh will not be stiff. Put in greased bowl, cover and let rise until double. Punch down and toss on floured surface and flour as you roll dough into a 12 x 18" rectangle. Cut lengthwise into 3 (4" by 18") strips. Make filling by combining last 7 ingredients on ingredient list. Put filling down center of strips. Fold dough around filling. Seal edges and ends. Place strip on greased cookie sheet. Press one end of strips together and braid. Seal ends. Cover and let rise until double.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown.
