Ingredients
6 med. onions, peeled and sliced
2 T butter
1 can green chilies
89 oz. cheddar
35 Ritz crackers
salt
pepper
Preparation
Place onions slices in sauce pan w/enough water to cover. Boil then drain..repeat 2 times. Drain onions until dry. Return to saucepan. Add butter, salt, pepper and heat. Layer onions, cracker crumbs and chilies in buttered 1 1/2 qt casserole. Bake 325 degrees 30 min.
