Ingredients
1/2 cup of shortening
1/2 cuo of Granulated Sugar
1/2cup of Brown Sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup of Buttermilk
1teaspoon of Vanlla
2 cups of all-purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoonof salt
Preparation
Cream together shortening,sugar and brown sugar. Mix in egg,then the buttermilk and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients;stir into creamed mixture. chill dough for 1hour.Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonful " apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of cookie dough. Bake at 400hundered drees for 7 to 9 minutes or until set.
