Ingredients

1 jar chili sauce

1 jar apricot preserves

2 large onions

1 envelope onion soup mix

3/4 cup worchestershire sauce

3-5 pound beef brisket

Preparation

preheat over to 325 degrees

mix first 4 ingrediants together in bowl slice onions into thin rounds and place on bottom of deep flat pan place brisket in pan atop the onions pour mixture over meat cover and cook 45 minutes per pound should be very tender when done remove brisket and cool, overnight if possible remove meat from gravy and slice on the diagonal reheat in gravy and serve
