Ingredients
1 quart berries/fruit (For berries add 1 1/2-2 C sugar (adjust to taste)
Dough
2 C flour
1 t salt
1/2 t BP
1/2 C shortening
1 C milk
Preparation
Put dough in frig to cool Roll thin and slice in 1/2 inch strips Start with a layer of berries, then criss-cross strips of dough for 2-3 layers Sprinkle sugar on top layer of dough for looks Bake at 350 for 45 min to 1 hour (until dough is golden brown)
