Ingredients

2 full Breadfruit

1 large dry coconut

1 medium onion

3 grains garlic

1 chive

1 hot pepper

salt to taste

salted meat (pork)

Preparation

Wash and peel and cut breadfruit into about 1 inch pieces, blend coconut until smooth. cut up onion, chive and mince the garlic. boil salted pork to remove some of the salt, then mix all ingredients into pot, pour strained coconut milk over the ingredients, add very little salt as the salted pork will already have salt, put the hot pepper on top, do not cover the pot as this will boil over. Cook until breadfruit is tender and the milk is nice and thick, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. allow to cool a bit before serving…
