Ingredients

2 sticks butter, softened

1 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon allspice

1/4 teaspoon cloves

3 cups quick cooking oats

6 oz raisins

1 cup pecans

Preparation

Heat oven to 300*

beat the butter with the sugars until creamy

add the eggs and vanilla and beat well

in a separate bowl sift together flour, spices, baking soda & salt.

add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture/mix well.

stir in the oats/add the raisins and nuts/mix well

drop the dough onto greased cookie sheets

bake at 300* for 18 min/cool on rack
