Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks)unsalted butter

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

4 cups Quaker Oats oatmeal (old-fashioned, uncooked)

3/4 cups chocolate chips

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together butter and sugars together until creamy.(An electric beater makes this easier.)Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. In a seperate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Pour flour mixture into the butter mixture and combine well. Stir in oats and chocolate-chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.(You might need to use more than one sheet.)Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and then move them to a wire rack. Enjoy!
