Ingredients
1 c. margarine 2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 t. baking soda
3 c. quick oats
1-6 oz chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
24 -36 carmels
2 T. milk
Preparation
Beat margarine, 1 c. flour, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add remaining flour and oats. Mix. Press 2/3 of mixture into 18 x 12 pan. Melt caramels with milk. Pour over dough. Pour chips and nuts over that. Drop remaining dough by T. over that. Bake 350 for 25 minutes. Do NOT over bake.
