Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

3/4 cup butter or margarine, room temperature

3/4 cup sugar

1 egg

1 cup mashed bananas (2 medium)

1 1/2 cups rolled oats

1 cup chocolate chips and/or walnuts

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and bananas. Mix well, then stir in dry ingredients, oats and chips and/or nuts.

Spoon onto cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden on top.
