Ingredients

3-4 C apples, peeled and chopped

¾ cup packed brown sugar or sucanat

½ cup flour

½ cup rolled oats

⅓ cup butter, softened

¾ tsp cinnamon

¾ tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 and grease a square 8x8 pan. Spread fruit in the bottom of pan. Mix remaining ingredients in a separate bowl and sprinkle on top of the fruit. Bake 30 minutes or until fruit is tender and top is golden brown. Serve with cream or ice cream.
