Ingredients
4oz Butter
4oz Sugar
8oz Oats
1 Egg
1tsp Baking Powder
pinch of salt
drop Vanilla Essence
Preparation
Pre heat the oven at 170°C
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add egg, baking powder, salt, vanilla essence and mix, then add the oats to form a dough.
- Wrap in clingfilm and place in fridge for 5mins
- Pat into rounds on baking parchment and bake for 15mins
N.B. The flatter the rounds the crispier the biscuits, and the fatter they are the chewier they are… Personally I prefer the chewier ones, but with the way they are you can easily chop them up even if you just laid out the dough.
