Ingredients
1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp rum flavoring
2 1/2 - 3 cups flour
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Preparation
Stir butter and sugar in a medium bowl until creamy. Add the remaining ingredients. Form dough into ½ inch diameter logs, 3 inches long. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Add frosting if desired
