Ingredients

2 bags chamomile tea

3 1/2 cups hot water

5 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg

a coffee filter

medium sized plastic bowl

medium sized wire filter to hold over bowl for straining

Preparation

  • Put the tea bags into a container holding the hot water, and let steep for five minutes

  • Add 5 tbsp sugar

  • Stir

  • add 1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

  • let steep for 3 minutes

  • place coffee filter in the wire filter and hold over the bowl.

  • slowly pour amounts of the tea into the coffee filter and wait for fluid to go into bowl

  • Repeat until all has been transferred

  • then add ice cubes to the bowl (1 1/2 to 2 cups) and stir

  • then, using a funnel, pour tea into a bottle

                    REFRIGERATE
