2 ONIONS QUARTERED SILCED THIN

2 CLOVES OF GARLIC CRUSHED

4 LBS LEAN GROUND BEEF (85%)

3 TBLS CHILI POWDER

4 CANS DICED TOMATOES WITH MILD CHILES (Del Monte)

1 12oz CAN TOMATO PASTE

4 15½ oz CANS CHILI BEANS (Joan of Arc)

1 14 ½ oz CAN BEEF BROTH

Part 2

3 TBLS SUGAR

2 TBLS CHILI POWDER

2 TBLS COCOA

1 TBLS CUMIN

1 TBLS SALT

1 TBLS OREGANO

1 TSP PEPPER

½ TSP GARLIC POWDER

½ TSP CINNAMON

½ TSP DILL WEED

½ TSP BASIL

¼ TSP ALL SPICE

1/8 TSP CEYENE PEPPER

2 BAY LEAVES

Preparation

Part 1 In a 10 qt pot Sautee onion and garlic Add ground beef and Chili Powder stir until meat is brown Drain fat from meat return to pot Add remaining part 1 ingredients. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer. Combine the part 2 ingredients and add to mixture Simmer on low heat for 4-6 hours.
